Passionfruit Design about to go solar

Passionfruit Design is about to install a series of solar panels on the roof of our office so that we can tap into an abundant and renewable energy source that  produces no greenhouse gas emissions. The installation of the panels will help Passionfruit Design reduce our carbon footprint and works towards creating a better environment for us and more importantly for future generations. Green Drives??

Western Digital green drives

As we are always dealing with digital media we find we use a lot of disk space. When it recently came time to update our storage solutions and bring our office archive and backup solutions up to date we came across Western Digital’s new range of “Green Drives” since we were buying 5 1TB drives to be put into a system that will never be turned off we were extremely excited to find out that running these drives will be reducing CO2 emission by up to 60 kilograms per drive per year. 

so now we can sleep easier at night not only knowing that we have a robust backup solution but also that we are minimising our carbon footprint in the process!
